Overview
Collaborate with Project Management team to produce Cost Breakdown Structure based on project Work Breakdown Structure to setup governance requirements in discussion with the Project Manager/s.
Prepare process and tools to carry out pricing estimates based on project stakeholders' input. Track and analyze the project costs including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, forecasts, contingencies analysis
Supply chain management to support contract preparation and meet fair payment requirements. Support Risk identification and reporting. Demonstrate leadership skills in guiding and mentor junior staff to meet delivery requirements.
Your role
- The Procurement Executive/Engineer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for company operations. The role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies.
- Review long lists of vendors/contractors/suppliers, conduct prequalification assessments, and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Prepare Non‑Disclosure Agreement (NDA) documents as required.
- Recommend appropriate contract types to clients based on project or procurement requirements.
- Prepare RFPs (Request for Proposal) and ITTs (Invitation to Tender) in line with project needs.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., design team) to gather and integrate necessary information into RFP documents.
- Float inquiries to shortlisted vendors/contractors/suppliers and collect quotations/proposals.
- Evaluate received quotations by conducting detailed technical and commercial bid assessments.
- Raise post‑tender queries and prepare comparison statements with normalization.
- Prepare quality matrix sheets to support evaluation and decision‑making.
- Develop comprehensive Tender Reports with recommendations for vendor/contractor/supplier selection.
- Draft contract agreements, work orders, purchase orders, and professional service agreements.
- Prepare Letters of Intent (LOI) and Letters of Acceptance (LOA).
- Draft contracts and agreements based on standard forms of contract as applicable.
- Prepare framework agreements, bespoke contracts, work orders, and professional service agreements.
- Demonstrate understanding and interpretation of cost plans.
- Support project meetings and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet deliverable timelines.
- Apply prior experience to enhance best practices across all procurement processes and procedures.
About you
- Min of 5-7 years hands experience in Estimation and Costing preferably in Pre/Post Contract Projects.
- Proficient in Contract Practice and Contract Administration- FIDIC, JCT & NEC
- Knowledge of Standard measurement methods like IS1200,NRM,CESSM, POMI, Etc
- Charted membership of RICS (MRICS) will be added advantage.
- Preferably having experience working at project client office/sites are added advantage.
